Stay At Home Resources

With #StayAtHome and its variants trending for obvious reasons, I just thought it might be useful to add some useful/fun resources to help retain sanity, humour etc. if you’re stuck indoors.

Particularly useful if you’ve got little ones around, Joe Wicks is doing PE every weekday, and he’s donating all his YT earnings from these videos to the NHS. You don’t have to be little to do the daily sessions BTW! :slightly_smiling_face: :muscle:

Please feel free to add to the thread with anything useful - thanks in advance! :sun_with_face:

Added - 1st April - Joe has just announced that so far he’s raised over £80,000 for the NHS from people viewing his YT videos. Amazing stuff!

UK grocery deliveries. If you want to stay in and not go to the shops at all, it’s been a bit difficult the last few weeks as the big supermarkets don’t seem to have delivery slots available at all.

I got my first non-veggie box of groceries yesterday from here - https://www.morrisons.com/food-boxes/boxes - a really good selection, with kitchen towel and 4 loo rolls.

Depending on where you live, you might be able to get Amazon Prime Now:
https://primenow.amazon.co.uk/

Be prepared to keep pressing F5 when you checkout to get a delivery slot. You might find that just as one appears some of your basket will become unavailable. Swings and roundabouts I suppose. I placed an order this morning and it’s due at 7am tomorrow.
